Our local Special Olympics team, the Blue Valley Blue Streaks, is looking for high school and adult volunteers to help with the basketball program.

You can earn priority registration or community service hours while making a difference for these wonderful athletes. The program runs every Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Leawood Middle School through March 6. Volunteers are needed for check in, on-court instruction, general supervision and more. You can volunteer for one night a month or more depending on your schedule.

All candidates must be high school age or older and must submit to a background check.
